In Dec 1906, the Elks planned to upgrade their clubhouse with reading rooms, bowling alleys and other amenities.
In February 1909, a committee revisited the idea and $30,000 was discussed to renovate the entire structure, not simply add a $10,000 addition. I am not positive the lanes were ever built for the Elks...more research is needed. |
