Factoids: C. W. Nichols, proprietor of the Mint Billiard Parlors, erected two bowling alleys on the street floor in May 1922.
Immediately, the Laramie City Bowling league was formed and matches were held between Laramie five-man teams for years.
In February 1924, barber J. A. Nelson moves his shop into the Mint Pool Hall at 310 S Second.
A Denver's Rio Grande bowling team played a picked Laramie team in a match and lost in April 1924.  The return match in Denver resulted in a loss for Laramie.
More research is needed to determine when and how these alleys closed.
