A short-lived duck pin alley in Laramie which closed during World War II and reopened after the war was over.
Reference to Fred and Jake Ziegler proprietors per a December 1940 advertisement. Reference to Fred Ziegler who was owner/manager in Oct 1941 per a WAA tournament article. I haven't found any references for this place during World War II but it did revive in 1944 under new ownership. In 1945 I have one phone book reference for Marion's Roy (?Roy Marion's?) duck pin alley at this address. It isn't clear when this place closed officially as the BI adverstisements stopped in the summer of 1946. |
