The first advertisement in The Branding Iron newspaper appeared in October 1947.
In 1950, the 2nd Annual Wyoming Men's State Bowling Tournament was held here. Betty Francis was the owner/manager of the Lucky Strike Lunch restaurant per the 1950 Rocky Mountain Business Directory. Keith D Bullock was manager of the lanes per the Laramie bowling history page. The Men's State Tournament was held here in 1950. The reason for closure is unclear at this time. |
